Overview
of my work experiences and view to my future.
Working for educational
institutions. Since secondary school,
I have worked for every educational institution where I have been full
time student. In secondary school and high school I worked as
substitute of a art teacher, in polytechnic as a project assistant, and
finally in university as a research assistant. Finally I turned down
opportunity to work as a researcher – academic success never attracted
enough.
15 months in China and 3 months in Singapore.
Obviously everything I have done in Asia was very
challenging. Especially my latest
work experience as research assistant was demanding in sevaral ways -
creating connections General managers, preparing interviews and
traveling in East-China as well as conducting interviews.
On the other hand I
had
excellent opportunity to learn from top western management, how they
handle
their human resource management in very challenging environment. I dare
to say after 62 interviews I
have
quite complete understanding of HRM-environment in China. Surely also working
with
Chinese, improved my understanding of Chinese culture and operating in China.
As a team leader at
Call Solutions. While I was studying
management in university I had
excellent opportunity to work as a team leader at Call Solutions Oy,
strategic
partner of Teliasonera. These where to most influential 2 years of my
career. I was working for small company, but I had change to see zeal
how large
multinational company operates. I realized my ability to listen to
people's
needs and response with competitive solutions on improving company’s
performance.
Currently
in Dublin, Ireland. After returning
from China in spring 2006, I
thought working in Europe would nice addition to
my cv. So I took
opportunity to work at IBM’s Nokia Account in Dublin. So far time spend
here has been valuable and I have gained good work experience.
